My Cabaret...

The show started in the small clubs of North West England, born out of a desire to move on from my side hustle as a waiter. I finally gathered the courage to step into the spotlight and put a show together—just me, singing the music I love—and took it on the road, wherever I was lucky enough to perform. I quickly learned what audiences enjoyed about this style of music and how to best share it with them. Less than six months later, I found myself on a cruise ship for the first time, and it was there that the show began to grow.

On the ships, I found something I hadn’t quite expected: an audience that was genuinely interested in listening, watching, and really connecting with the music. It was humbling to discover so many people who shared my love for the songs I was performing. With each show, the experience deepened, and I began to feel even more connected to both the music and the people in the audience.
From there, I was fortunate enough to perform on several cruise lines, bringing the show to new places and people. I was also invited to take it to stages across the UK, where I could share this experience with those closer to home. What began as a small leap of faith turned into something much more rewarding than I ever could have imagined.

As I’ve grown older, the lyrics of the songs I sing have started to resonate with me in ways I didn’t fully appreciate before. Not only do I continue to enjoy performing these beautiful melodies, but the words themselves now carry a deeper significance. It’s a reminder of how much these songs have to offer, and how much they can change the way we experience them over time.

At the heart of all of this is my desire to keep this music alive, to share it in a way that allows the audience to connect with it and truly enjoy it. I hope to evoke memories along the way, inspiring them to sing, maybe even dance, and leave the show with a renewed appreciation for these timeless songs. My hope is that, long after the performance is over, they’ll continue to explore the music of these brilliant composers, lyricists, musicians, and singers—keeping the magic of their work alive.
